Why “Easy” Toys?

Easy Toys are named for their affordability, making them easy on your budget.

Parrots Need Enrichment:  Foraging, shredding, and munching are not just activities parrots enjoy—they are essential behaviors for their well-being. The toys we provide in their cages and on their perches play a crucial role in keeping their minds busy and their emotions balanced. These activities mimic what parrots do in the wild: shredding, ripping, and munching on various materials.

The Problem with Commercial Toys: Many toys available online and in stores are either made with unsafe materials that prioritize aesthetics over health, or they are made with good materials but come with high price tags. The cost often deters parrot owners from purchasing new toys as often as needed—nearly daily.

The Solution: Easy Toys: Our Easy Toys are handmade by volunteers from For Bird Foundation. These toys are designed to be simple and functional, meant to be destroyed by the birds. While they may not be the prettiest toys, they are incredibly useful. By focusing on practicality and affordability, we can offer these toys at prices that allow parrot parents to stock up, ensuring their birds receive the daily or near-daily enrichment they need.

These toys do not come with hardware.  They have a simple loop that you can use to hand them using your hardware of choice.

EVERY toy is different.  The toys you receive might look different than the toys in the photos due to them being hand-made with the materials we have on hand at that time.
